The head follows the heart, not the other way around. In many cases, people will believe what they "feel" is right, regardless of the evidence presented to them. It takes a very special kind of person to listen to opposing viewpoints and consider them.
Another hazard of this is that there is no platform that EVERYBODY disagrees with. In the case of this question, there seems to be some reference to 9/11 not being broadcasted until the next day. Somewhere, there is a website dedicated to this. Somewhere a book has been written denouncing 9/11 as a conspiracy. It only takes one person agreeing with a crackpot theory to make it seem validated in someone else's mind. Sad, but true.

People say that American's are "arrogant" and that we have this deep seeded need to be superior. Well I get tired of hearing that. NOT all American's feel that way which I believe is why we're in the pickle we are right now screaming for some change. However, with that said, people who condemn American's need to realize that we have financially and otherwise supported most every nation on this planet when they have need us. From the French revolution to economic growth in Africa today. We have stood the test of time and come to everyone's rescue in a minute. If those bleeding heart liberals who don't have fact right and put weight in the words of an unaccomplished actor had any clue as to what was really going on they would realize that American's are decent and giving people. We give more to other countries so much that our own people lay hungry on our streets. I think that statements made by people who are too young or who lack the fortitude to get fact right about history should be deleted.

What do mean about the broadcast (I saw it on the news as it was happening) do you mean details? but yes, you can become so arrogant, that you will ignore the possibility of being wrong even when so many others are disagreeing..

most definitely!
even if i was so sure that i couldn't be wrong, if every1 around me doesn't agree with me especially if they are all saying the same thing....i'll start to entertain some doubt in the deeper recesses of my mind!!
Oh, and no i didn't see that question...but with all the controversy and inconsistencies surrounding 9/11, u can't expect to keep up with all of them!!! Even the most powerful super computer wouldn't have a chance.

Yes I do... and that is why I listen to opposing views. Unfortunately, Americans are so arrogant they don't want to hear what anyone else has to say... which is why this country is in the mess it's in now.
