I like most of the people, especially the ones on the Yahoo chat line, sure they are highly opinioned, but they do try real hard to offer you positive solutions to problems you might be having once you bring it to their attention. Their women folk are beautiful and stunning. And their mannerism is sometimes crude and rude, but charming most of the time, they have a great sense of humour and they find ways to be able to make a bad situation bearable! They all seem to dislike the way their own government is running things, but none of them want to toss their own hats into the political arena and change the things they don't like. They are for the most part highly intelligent, resourceful, creative and have some great imaginations.
What I dislike (not hate, mind you) is their weather over there, and the way that Yahoo runs their UK and Ireland operations, judging from the high number of user complaints they seem to not really care about their users, even though its their users that are keeping this branch of the Yahoo! Inc open and employing lots of English workers! They should really appreciate you people more than they do.....
I have only tried your Fish and Chips and have grown rather fond of them.

My wife is American. She loves me and hates where we live.
To anwer Fire'n' Ice's question. Iv'e been to LA and San Diego & I love:
barbeques n beer with the family
jamba juice
chilli salsa
bass fishin
baseball caps
the koi pond in beverly hills
palm trees
sunset strip
ben and jerry's
good service (restaurants etc)
strippers (@ my stepson's batchelor party)
hershy bars
and above all else the beautiful and friendly people that I met there.
I hate:
sittin in traffic on the 5
sittin in traffic with no air con in the car.

i like the assumption of england although i can not say for confident by way of fact i've got by no capacity travelled there. i be attentive to i could like the factors although. that's often sunny right here, i can not stand it! as some distance by way of fact the accents, they're nice.. no longer a turn on or a turn off.

One of my dreams is to visit America & tour round it all.

American people seem friendly from what I have seen of them over here.
I guess Britain like everywhere has its good points and its bad points.
