Wasn't that a little silly and a waste of money for them? The DNC chose her long, long ago.

Does it matter if they can do a better job than Clinton? I mean - seriously - does it really matter? LOL! That's almost laughable. Even if one of them found the cure for cancer - it STILL wouldn't matter.

Politicians have a limited window of opportunity to run for president, since the opportunity only comes up every 4 or 8 years depending on the incumbent...Since this is the opportunity where the incumbent can't run again (which has only happened 4 times in my lifetime, and I'm 48), some of these guys have to take their shot...

The DNC chose her when they chose John Kerry to run in 'O4, but she cannot be elected. There are too many people out there who still remember Whitewater and Vince Foster and who recognize that she is no better than any other politician. The other Democrats are hoping to give their party an actual chance at a win in '08. It's up to the individual voters to override the DNC.

Because something in the neighborhood of 53% of the American people would not vote for Hillary under any circumstances. There's a good chance that if she's the candidate that the Republican will win regardless of who he is.
People remember the Clintons and contrary to the media's swooning, a little more than half despise evil little uber-socialist.

believe it or not there are many in the DNC that don't want her to run at all. They know she is a polarizing force for the Republicans and that a large number of people will simply vote to ensure that she is not elected. Her new "moderate stance" is just a ploy to try to get her to seem more mainstream than the exteme leftist she is. I sincerely hope she does not make the ticket.

i became a sort of displaced Hillary human beings and voted for McCain. i does not vote for Hillary now by way of fact I bear in mind she reported she became a creative it rather is what Obama is. She ought to have accomplished a better activity yet she could have accomplished an analogous issues. I doubt i will pass lower back to the Democrats ever lower back. they're destroying the country via businesses. the real democrats do no longer exist anymore.

1. Front runners don't always win the nomination.
2. If she runs and loses, think the party will nominate her again in 4 years? All the others now running may be running for 2012, not 2008.
3. Who is she going to pick as her running mate, if she wins the nomination? Often other party candidates end up as VP nominee.

The reason is simple. They believe they have a better "grasp" on what America wants. They are also running because, they believe, people, Dems or Reps, don't want her baggage and she has alot of baggage. The question really is, and lets just play this out, WHO would want to be her VP? God knows, it wouldn't be easy and, just as with Al Gore, with the glory comes the tarnish.

Our whole process for choosing a President has gotten so out of touch with the people it's almost unreal.
I ALMOST wish there would be an American President like there is an American Idol. Start off with 20 candidates (ten from each side) and every week one gets canned. At the end of ninteen weeks we'd have a President.
