Assuming it's YOUR firewall to alter, open it, set it to allow limewire to go through.

As you don't state WHAT firewall can't be more specific, but I suspect it is because it's a corporate/college/school one . . . in which case ask the IT dept to allow you to access it, then pack your desk, and go home awaiting final pay cheque, as this is a breach of almost ALL corporate use PC terms

Depends on what firewall you are using . I use the Ashampoo firewall and I download stuff from limewire fine.

Ashampoo is a good firewall and is free to download

use settings option in limewire. "Passive download" aslastresolve. something like that.
