I don't have the box and I can't remember if it's 4, 6 or 8 hours. If anyone has a box with them and can tell me, i'd appreciate it.

You can leave it in between 4-8 hours but no more than 8. The longer you leave a tampon in the greater your chances are for getting toxic shock syndrome (TSS). Also the greater the absorbancy is, the greater chance it is to get TSS. I change mine about every 4-5 hours. It also depends on how heavy or light your period is. lf its really heavy, change about every 4 hours. If its kinda light, you can leave it in a little longer but remember no more than 8 hours.

The box says every 4-8 hours. Never leave it in more than 8 hours because you run the risk of getting TSS.
