Ok. I have asked every thinkable question to try and figure out whats going on. But as yet I still don't have an answer.

I can't possibly be pregnant as I've had regular (or as regular as they get for me) periods for the last month and a half, I haven't changed the way I eat, I haven't changed my excersise routine, in fact I haven't changed a single thing in my lifestyle. The only thing that's changed is that I'm no longer a virgin and my last encounter (with no protection) was on the 13th of July.

I have also recently had the flu but I am better now and these symptoms are carrying on and they started before I got sick.

I have a dull horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach, I seem to be more hungry, more emotional, more tired, I need to relieve myself more, sometimes I feel a bit dizzy, I have random medium sharp pains in my lower abdomen and breasts, and for the last two weeks I've picked up 0.2kg a week.

What is going on with me? What could this be? And what can I do about it?

i had a sister in law that went through her entire pregnancy having complete periods. she did not know she was pregnant until a routine check up at the Dr's.are all those periods in the same month?if its not 3 diffrent months u do need to be check out by a gynocologist. being emotional at the 1st trimester is normal although it is more common in the 2ND.dizzy is normal because you have a unborn child trying to develop that takes blood, energy etc. it changes ur blood pressure.its way to Early for u to have pains of any kind. try a gentle workout or stretching. if ur pregnant working out will ease the pain of labor and make it go faster.u gain most of ur weight in the last trimester, when the baby is getting plump. u also have to take into consideration of water retention. during ur period normally gain 3-7 lbs of fluids. if u eat lots of salt it makes u retain water.
if u r worried about being pregnant,by this far along u can take one of those home pregnancy kits u get at the store. ur body produces a hormone when u r pregnant that the strip picks up.the longer u r pregnant the more of this hormone u have. the mornings when u first get up is the strongest because it has had enough time to build up.through out the day it gets weaker, watered down, if u will. that is why u have to do it in the morning instead of later in the day.
how old ur u? just tell ur mom that you have growen up alittle and feel it is where to have ur stepdad down there looking at ur all togeather.if u just dont want her to find out,im sure there are clinics that are just for pregnate teens and they keep it confidital, and in most cases its free.use your allowance or money u earn or r given to buy a at home test, or for the clinic if u need to.good luck in eather way you want it. if u r pregnate i hope ur mom takes it in stride.becouse what is done is done and u have to take care of the situaion.

Believe it or not, sometimes you can be pregnant and still get what seems to be your period - so if you think you might be pregnant get a pregnancy test. It could also be a virus of some sort - you said you had the flu but have continued symptoms. But it is a bit odd that you continue to gain weight - I really think you should get it checked out.

It's normal I think. I recently read the add det. and could get it clearly. You have two stress factors- one is loss of virginity and second- flu. I think you are not preg but you will have to make sure cz any unprotected encounter can make u preg. You need to be careful in future. Protection is necessary for STD also.
All the best!
After add det #2 - You tell your mom you have some gyno related problem like discharge and get an appointment.
PS- Jeanne, really there is only one way for ending the suspense- visit to the gyno.

If you keep asking on yahoo and can't get a good answer then perhaps you should get off the computer and go to a doctor!!!

Also, some women have regular periods the entire time they are pregnent...but just go to a doctor.
AND STOP HAVING UNPROTECTED SEX...unless you want to be pregnant.
You don't have to tell your mom at all. Just go. Pick a doctor. Make an appointment. Have the billing in your name.
If you are adult enough to be having sex you need to be adult enough to go to a doctor.

Should be easy enough to tell your mom that you think you are having female problems and you don't feel comfortable discussing them with your step dad.
Sounds like you could be pregnant though, and that will be a lot harder to explain.

Some woman still get their period even when they're pregnant. See a doctor. If anything, you'll ease your worries.

You should take a pregnancy test, so you will know if you are or not pregnant.

you should get a yourself tested. if you're getting those kind of symtoms then you probably are pregnant. if you are and you don't want to be then get an abortion. this is something you should tell your physician. hope you feel better =)
