That is an impossible question to answer, so many great songs all with their own uniqueness. Up there at the top though are:

Memories
You gave me a mountain
Always on my mind
Gentle on my mind
In the ghetto

I could go on & on...............................

I much prefer Elvis' early recordings...That's All Right Mama, Mystery Train, Heartbreak Hotel, Jailhouse Rock, Girl Of My Best Friend, Mess Of Blues etc. but if you just want love songs...Love Me Tender, Can't Help Falling In Love, Are You Lonesome Tonight are classic songs.

Gotta be In the Ghetto, American Trilogy and Kentucky Rain for me.

Had Viva Las Vegas, Can't help faling in love and Always on my Mind sung to us by our own Elvis (Ron) in Vegas! So they are kinda special and I used to howl at Old Shep and Don't Cry Daddy as a wee thing.

The King is dead long live the King.

Elvis had the ability to make every song sound unique. His charisma was that he sang that song just for YOU. He was called the King because we were all his subjects loving his midas touch to the music world.

The King is dead.....long live the King!
