When Reagan took the oath of office in 1980, we were the richest country in the world and also the biggest lending country in the world.

With all of the Republican cut backs, we are now the Biggest BORROWING country in the world, and are 16th in personal income.

Pitty, but the results of Reaganomics that have been followed for the past 27 years have not worked out well at all; the bill has come due.

But that's OK, we will just leave it to our children and grand children. Such a legacy.

Nope, but thats what the left wants you to believe.

In the last 6 months, Britian has been the largest foreign buyer of US Treasury Bonds.

But as usual, Americans buy more US Treasury Bonds than anyone else.

Most people who try and say that China is buying all the US Treasury bonds, cannot for some reason, tell you how many China owns.

Now if they don't know, how many China owns, just how can they tell you who'd buying them ?

Yes, but it is not because China is a favorite creditor. It sells the Treasury in the bond market, and China is an active buyer.

Yep, that's pretty much how it's working. You can't spend a billion dollars a week while off shoring jobs (and tax base) and still keep your books balanced.

Funny how so many 'patriotic' Americans support this war but won't fight in it or pay taxes to cover the expenses.

Yes. I know we're considered the wealthiest nation on earth, but even we don't have enough money on our own to fund this war. It costs billions of dollars per day.
