If you mean Virtual Memory, see below.

Usually running out of virtual memory means that you are running too many applications at the same time for your system or one of them is attempting to use too much memory.

Increasing virtual memory is one way of compensating for lack of RAM. However, it's optimum should be set at 1.5 times the amount of RAM on your computer. Virtual memory can be increased, but it comes with a risk if you increase it too much as it can eventually lead to hard drive damage.

To increase VM on Windows XP (should be in similar locations for other versions) look in Control Panel: System, Advanced, Performance Settings, Advanced, Virtual Memory.

You can see if your computer can handle more RAM at http://www.crucial.com/index.asp

It's important to note that everything takes RAM. Not only security products (such as active anti-spyware, anti-virus and firewall) eat up memory but your operating system, active browser windows, running applications (such as Word, Gaming, Messenger, Photoshop, etc) and malware all compete for system resources. The presence of Malware (viruses, spyware, etc) will particularly eat up your system resources so you may want to run your resident security products such as antispyware and antivirus applications to ensure that your system is clean.

To increase and maintain speed:

1. Set wallpaper and screensavers to blank or none — they run continuously in the background and use memory.
-----right-click on the desktop, select Properties
-----click the screensaver tab, on the left where it says "screensaver," select none.
-----click the desktop tab, for background, select none
2. Review your start menu – remove anything you don’t need on a daily basis — load games, etc. on an as-needed basis.
-----click Start, Settings, Taskbar and Start Menu
-----click the Start Menu tab
-----select a program you do not want to load at Startup, then click remove.
-----Caution -- do not touch anything you are not sure of or you will mess up your computer royally.
3. From Internet Explorer, click Tools, Internet Options: delete cookies, delete files (offline), and clear history. (You can also set days to store history to 0.)
----- These actions will clear your computer’s cache. (For a description of cache, go to http://help.yahoo.com/l/ph/yahoo/mail/access/access-27210.html )
4. Run Disk Cleanup, Scandisk, Defrag at least every two weeks (the more frequently they are run, the less time they take).
-----These can be found in Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools.
5. Periodically, click Start, Programs, Run — then type ipconfig renew
(that’s ipconfig space renew).
6. Optional: Speed vs Goodies — in the Control Panel, System, Advanced, Performance, Settings — you can have visual effects or let Windows select the best options. I am using “Best Performance.” Your choice.
These things should increase speed and free up memory as much as possible.

in case you fairly seem up the go connection with the scripture at John 18: 6 you will see it factors to John 7:40 six the place it states "The officers replied: “under no circumstances has [yet another] guy spoken like this.” They knew he grew to become into the "Christ" that's Greek for Messiah. It says not something approximately Him being God. alongside comparable lines, shall we study Philippians 2:9, the place the apostle Paul describes what God did after Jesus died and grew to become into resurrected. The verse says: "God exalted him [Jesus] to a solid place and kindly gave him the call that's above another call." If Jesus grew to become into God or equivalent to God earlier he died and God later exalted him to a a procedures better place, might that not placed Jesus above God? yet how might desire to all of us become better to God? And if he grew to become into God earlier he died, how can God die? there is not any "secret" right here. Jesus is the Son of God. additionally, God continuously observed Jesus as his son, and Jesus continuously observed God as his father, showing that God grew to become into older and had extra authority. He additionally mentioned that he got here to do God's will and not his own, showing 2 wills; his father and his. 2 separate wills. in case you prefer to bypass on believing that God has 3 heads, then you fairly could have 3 too, because of the fact you have been created in his photograph!
