What about women, is there any evidence that they did also?

I'm sure i have read somewhere that some women actually did fight duels over men as well as the men fighting over women.... so what's changed today huh... lol well i guess it's the stupid ones who fight over men not the intelligent ones, good Q!

Not sure, it was generally over a ladies honour that they had a duel for, that's why us women are brighter, we stand back and watch them make idiots of themselves then give them hell for doing so.

Aha - I know this one - The start time as you said was dawn - the women got up at around 3am but by the time they had chosed their outfit to possible 'die' in, it was midday and time for lunch so they never actually got around to it.
