I mean, I know it's possible because pretty much anything is possible if you have enough money.

I am wondering if I were to turbo a C6 Z06 would it take much more modification for the internals to handle 700rwhp reilabily?

Remember seeing the C5 Lingenfelter Vette make some sick HP off of the 427 platform but then again that is why the car cost $125K....

Let me know.....

Looking forward to answers / commets.

700 h.p. may be pushing it with a STS kit. The standard C6 intercooled kit makes around 525 at the wheels, so I'd say it would be in the 650 range. You wouldn't have to do anything to the internals, they can handle up to around 1,000 h.p. without any problem. The LS7 has forged main caps, 4140 crankshaft, forged pistons, etc. The short block can handle just about anything you can throw at it. There are turbo kits other than the STS that will show far greater h.p. gains.

You would probably need to upgrade the clutch, and rear end. The car is making 505hp at the crank...so 700rwhp is probably a 250-300hp gain over stock. A turbo itself might not be enough, other modifications might be necessary (intake, exhaust, computer, lifters, cam). The Z06 is a beast of a car already that can do 0-60 in 3.3 seconds. Adding the horsepower might actually be counterproductive - making the car almost impossible to drive normally. Though I cant say I'm not curious to see what one with 700 rwhp could do...if you could even get the rear wheels to hook up on a launch.

well as you said anything can be done with deep enough pockets. why does it cost so much, because they can charge that much and because its done right, tuned right and built right. if it's something you want to tackle yourself. do the research with the companies that have kits available
