No, but by dumbing down education and allowing the media to broadcast such completely dumb programs as they do they are making a population of morons who's life is conducted round the soaps and big brother. I would be very careful about big brother as when the public is totally used to someone having cameras all over their house then in comes 1984 and all that that means. I would be very worried as all the government has to do is to sponsor a story line in the soaps and bingo 90% of the public will belive it and vote for it.

It's called propaganda or disinformation. Apart from Dr Kelly many British servicemen have died or been injured as a result of it. Thank to the Blaina no one now believes anything this government says and do not forget that clown Brown was a member of the Cabinet and knew that the case for invading Iraq was false.

I think they long ago stopped trying to control minds, they know that is pointless. They now have an army of robotic **** licking line toeing "yes" people who try to control every aspect of our lives, from what we put in our waste bins to how we sell our houses. When did we elect people to run our lives rather than run the country? When did we give them such mandates to poke and pry into our most private affairs? And why do we let it go on and on instead of taking to the streets in our thousands to say we have had enough?

All governments use control as a tool against the public...They spew out mindless rhetoric about threats from foreign powers and hold us in a perpetual state of induced panic...
All politicians use conspiracy as a means
conspiracy is a part of politics
All politicians have power
The greater the political power the greater the conspiracy

they are trying to force us to think differently and you may be paranoid (but it doesn't mean they're not out to get you). this is not a free country anymore and there is no such thing as free speech unless you are spouting the politically correct party line

I would rather think the liberal media is doing just that. One has to check other media sources such as conservative radio and Fox News TV. . . come to think about it, the media is in cahoots with the liberal politicians.......go figure that one out......and be sure you get the other side of things via conservative talk radio and Fox News TV!! You are NOT paranoid, sweetie.
