REV 20:1 "And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain.
2 "He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.
3 "He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.
4 "I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 "(The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection.
6 "Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.
7 "When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison
8 "and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth--Gog and Magog--to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore.
9 "They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God's people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them.
10 "And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever."

If they existed then during the fight Thor, Odin, Ares, Tyr, Set and Shub-Niggurath (The Black Goat of the Woods with a Thousand Young) will all turn up and leave God and Satan lying in the gutter.

I don't believe in satan.
But judging by the world I'd say that a lot of people are doing horrible things to fellow man in the name of satan. So that may mean a leaning towards God being less in control, but not defeated. Just man needs to accept they choose to harm another and look to God for the why, not some horned guy in red to blame and empower.

It seems to me that evil is always winning in the real world, but there are good things happening too, but I just can't find them. the evil we have is the rich corporate companies and all the rich people in the world they control everything around them. It is the people with money that are the Satan's in this world and they seem to be taking over.

no he couldn't because satan is a part of God therefore God couldn't take over and fight himself

and satan's purpose isn't to rule the world...it's to lure the human race to sinful ways

I think we'll all continue for a few thousand years, all the while still on the lookout for some great "armaggedon" or "Judgement Day", and continue to "find" signs of the "times" until we evolve to the next level or eventually force ourselves into extinction.

Not trying to step on anyone's toes, but hey... it's just an opinion.

In case you haven't noticed, Satan took over a long time ago.

God will take back the power very soon.

Even the bible states that the devil is the ruler of this world.

I think it will come down to this, good will out do evil. Good will win, but I feel we are all living in Hell now. It's up to us, as a society to change things. Ever heard of the saying. You need to help yourself, because no one is going to help you.
