Reclusive or solitary a person, basically, tell me the reasons for having become this way? Do you like it, prefer it?
If you are extremely extroverted, like to always be among many others, seldom alone, tell me the reason for this, as well.
And what do you like about it? What makes you prefer it?

1. I think I am basically and genetically an extrovert. Born into a big family and exposed to my parent's nature of work where lots of people meet, I have enjoyed being active, lively and consequently quite a friendly person. I used to be very talkative and naughty so it was fun having lots of people around me to have fun and not fill lonely. I used to be afraid of being alone. I could feel sad and depressed. And I don't like to be in that situation. So I prefer to be in with the crowd. Then my job again exposed me to a lot of people of all sorts. 2. In the beginning, it was great fun but after some years I got sick and tired of it because people were becoming hypocrites, false, liars, dishonest, crooked, selfish, greedy, unkind, etc etc, so I quit the world of work and became a loner, deliberately avoiding the company of others. I began to spend a lot of time alone and on my own. And discovered to my happiness that that was the best thing that has ever happened to me. I found life more peaceful and pleasant, minding my own business, I was in tune with myself!! I love it and I prefer it over against the crowd even though I am still okay with good and sensible friends!!!

I am a solitary person because I cannot find many proper friends. I have a tendency to be very generous and giving with my friends, so I get taken advantage of easily. I am married and my husband is as close to a best friend that I've ever had (besides my cat). What's funny is that I used to be in mortgage sales and appear to people to be extremely extroverted...but I'm really not. I'm very content just being alone. :)

I know that I am too trusting and naive. My trust has been betrayed so many times that I have become very selective what persons I let into my life. I am a people person by nature so this is not how I prefer to be-just a necessary precaution for my own well being.

I prefer to be alone. Reasons why: I like to think. But I do like to be around people.
But if I go out too much, I get tired and drained. I like to be at home rugged up and watching a movie I like or something. :) And, it's really hard for me to take in more than a few people at a time.

Nature has made a man[or a woman] a social animal and that's how he should be.Going to either extreme is a deviation and has reasons for it.I like to be a social animal with some time to be myself ie alone.

People, as a general rule, are selfish, stupid, egocentristic, rude, petty, easily led and annoying. My motivation for being solitary is simply that the human race disgusts me. We were given the tools to have heaven on earth, and instead we have created a hell.

I guess I've always depended on myself for a long time that when it comes to interaction with society, I'd rather alienate myself.
