You'll come to a stop in most cases.

Most cycle braking systems can lock the front wheel but it's not advisable to do so for what should be obvious reasons. You should use BOTH brakes at all times.

If you can cycle to 70km/h you must be very athletic and very strong...

1.) If you pull the front brake only. You will definitely have a bad fall and you will brake the fall with some very bad bruise or maybe some broken bones.

2.) If you brake the rear brake only. You might be able to control the skidding bike. If not, you will tail out and have bruise on one side of you body.

3.) If you pull both brakes. You might slow down and stop. And nothing happens.

it depends. if you put on the front break, you will go flying over the handle bars and bring the bike on top of you. if you use the back break, it will make your bike fishtail. probably a major wipe out too.
