Very simple, repetitive, mindless, I mean really, you have to use the wii-mote as a hammer to hammer in nails and as a lasso to lasso barrels, its that bad.
But a little kid would love it.

Lucky four year old! But I am a bit old fashioned children should have more educational things to do or things that stretch the imagination. Not spend even more hours in front of the telly. My two year old won't be having a games console until at least 8 or 9 then I'll be limiting her time. Sad I know but the tv already dictates to much in our lives. However Mario is always great for children I still remember my first meeting with Mario........

Any of the Disney Movie games such as Ant Bully and Shrek 3. Also these games are usually about $20-$30 which is alot cheaper than the new games which are about $50

Im sure theres plenty of licensed crap that 4 year olds could play, like surfs up or whatever, most games would e pretty hard for a 4 year old though... but try WarioWare: Smooth Moves.
