if you have a Windsor store near you I suggest going there. It's inexpensive and they have great styles to choose from. There's also a company called Xcite and they make some really cool dresses. You can look them up online. I don't know how you feel about second hand shops, but i love them and every time i go to one i always come across extremely rad dresses that people have discarded and have only been worn once. Marshall's, TJ Maxx, and Ross also have good deals on formal stuff, but you can only find it when that time of the year comes around. Good Luck!

look into eBay - prom dresses - your size
They are often top quality brands being sold by people who only wore them once....and the dresses are often cheap enough that you could buy two and decide between them.
