My sister is looking to become either a radiologist or a nuclear medicine technologist. I've heard that health careers are decent-paying, but won't break the bank. They are more about helping people. I will be a junior in college, and I attend a four-year public school, but out-of-state. However, my major (chemical engineering) offers well-paying careers right upon graduation.

My question is: Should she go to a private, four-year college for this career? Will she be able to pay off her loans and not have financial issues?

Going to a private college, obviously, will be more expensive than a public college for a career in medicine. You are correct in that radiologists & nuclear medicine technologists make decent money, but nothing close to that of a surgeon or family practitioner. I think the best thing for your sister to consider is to choose a public university in which to obtain her degree. The reason I suggest this is that public universities (depending on the state you reside in) are going to be less costly than private universities, and you receive the basic set of training in that field of medicine. For example, if you live in Massachusetts, you have four schools that are well-known and best suited for a career in the medical field - Boston University, Harvard University, Tufts University, and The University of Massachusetts. Boston, Harvard, & Tufts are all private and the costs are astronomical. UMass isn't cheap either, but it is significantly less than the private schools and the quality of instruction is basically the same. Also, when it comes to paying off loans, public universities work more readily with you than private institutions. The reason that is the case is because public institutions are associated with the state (99% of the time) and the state will be happy to charge more interest in order to extend the period of payoff. I hope this helps a little. Good luck, to you & your sister!

I easily did no longer be attentive to lots relating to the guy until at present. while his call began to get thrown around somewhat, i began out to study up on his credentials. This guy is precisely what McCain needs to end his cost tag. He seems to be an genuinely "Reagan" variety Conservative. on an analogous time as McCain has a tendency to be waiting to be extra bi-partisan, which i've got confidence is something we choose extra of from a president besides, Pawlenty may additionally help in getting extra of the Conservative and Christian base on board. i like Romney. yet regrettably he could injury McCain's possibilities provided that the Christian precise are very uncomfortable with him being that he's Mormon, it rather is certainly unlucky, by way of fact his regulations and politics are precise on so some distance as i'm worried. while extra of the Conservative and Christian base gets extra excited relating to the Republican cost tag, which i'm confident will initiate by utilising next week. Obama can say bye bye to the White homestead. somewhat provided that until now the DNC began, Obama became somewhat forward and in actuality tied with McCain, or perhaps now that the DNC is approximately over, no longer lots has moved interior the polls. maximum applicants traditionally get a solid 5 to eight factor leap after their respective convention. Obama in actuality have been given no longer something. The RCP average is barely Obama up by utilising 2.5 p.c.. Suthrn: My feeling is that with a McCain/Pawlenty cost tag. this could be a trounce.
