I would encourage you to see a pastoral counselor regarding what you are feeling that makes you consider yourself gay. I really don't understand homosexuality and why somebody would choose that lifestyle. But I do believe it is a choice; it is learned behavior and I don't believe that somebody is "born gay." I think people choose it because they were scarred in some way and getting through to the source of that scar, and understanding what the real wound is, is the key to living a heterosexual lifestyle for these individuals.
Before you all start giving me a "thumbs down" know that I believe homophobia is just as bad a sin as is homosexuality. While I don't understand homosexuality, people who express hatred against homosexuals are evil. We should be accepting of and trying to help homosexuals rather than judging of them.

I think the usual thing to do is to form a relationship with someone of the same sex and continue to live a perfectly normal and fulfilling life. Being gay is of no consequence whatsoever; there's an awful lot more to life than who you fancy.

Try not to think about it. Could the reason so many are gay today cuz it's told to them that it's OK to be gay so they think about this too much. Growing up there were hardly any gays, but now it seems that its been announced that it's OK tons of people are gay. That is so strange that there are so many now and wasn't before.

First, you can't THINK your gay, you either are...or your not. I would say that you should first decide whether you are or not. Then look in the future to determine what you want, (ie. children, a husband, a homosexual life style) then find someone you can trust and confide in and tell them. And then once you decide it's time for people to know, you tell them.
Also don't TRY to be gay--just be yourself, you big queer you

i would say just be yourself if your gay go with your instincts of liking men and not women, dont not be gay because certain people think its evil and crap, its a lifestyle choice, and its a free country so people should be able to chose their own lifestyle. i would also say tell your uhm parents if u just found out you were gay, and i would encourage you to come out to all ur friends and be proud of who you are not hide in a closet =]

Same thing you would do if you thought you were straight. Make some phone calls and go out with somebody. Confirm or reject the hypothesis.

Have fun!
(edit - to wvrealestate: wake up call - there were always lots of gays, however they had to stay deeply closeted to keep from being beaten, or killed by homophobes.

Be proud of who you are! Anyone who says there is anything wrong with you is the one with the problem. Don't let other peoples hang ups get in the way of being who you are. (This is what I would say)
