I get short of breath, my heart beats fast and it happen out of nowhere any one know what that it is?

It just happened last night when i was sleeping...and it happens in movie theathres to. It happened three times so far. I am 11 yrs old.

It sounds like an anxiety attack to me, I had the same things start happening to me last year. I also had stomach aches. One time I was just sitting and watching TV and out of nowhere my heart started beating out of my chest. Later I went to the Dr. and they checked everything over. Since they found nothing wrong, they prescribed me a very mild anti-anxiety medicine.
That was after they checked out everything of course, heart, stomach, my kidney's, and blood. None of this hurt at all, and its not scary.
Definetely. cut back on all caffeine. I did, and it helped. Lastly - if this happens again, and its scary. Try counting backwards from 20, and picture the numbers in your head. Don't breath too fast. take nice slow deep breaths into your hands.
If your heart is still racing after that. Call your parents to come check on you. Never be afraid to let an adult know that something is wrong. You can even trust your teachers to help.

Sounds like palpitations or anxiety attacks. I have the same, you really need to go to your Doctor, where they will probably do a scan on your heart (don't worry its not scary).

one possibility is as you said anxiety, but you should rule out supra ventricular tachycardia by visiting an internist.

i have just been dealing with this lately myself...cut out your caffiene, cut out anything that is like diet pills, etc...drink lots of water..but you should tell mom and dad...could just be enemic, could be absolutely thing...just so you know, but doubt it is serious
