It is quite a wrong perception but it is not unusual. I have the same thougths, somehow I am only happy when I am unhappy or hating something. But it is wrong, because it will harm a lot of other people. So, I am trying to get over this, u should too.

Are you referring to people, or things. Like hobbies, work, a job, driving a car, movies etc.. If it is things then you have not found anything you enjoy. You have to explore, and find what will make you happy besides "hate".
You also might hate things because other people have them, and you don't so you are transposing your feeling of jealousy to hate.
If it is people, you for sure were abused, and hurt many times in you life. You therefore are really rejecting people by hating them so that you will not ever feel the pain of rejection again. This way you feel you have the upper-hand, and that makes you think you feel happy..
If this question was posed as a philosophical question, and you are not really serious about hating. That is my reply. If this question is really truly how you feel you should get help. I really feel sorry for you. There is so much to enjoy, in life. You are missing out on it by hating.
However if you really do live in a state of "hate" all the time, I would advise you to seek psychological help. Good luck to you.

You cannot feel a love if you have never felt hate, and vice verse...How would you know that the boiling water is hot if you don't know what the cold is?
It's not wrong to feel unhappy about something, but it is wrong to think that a person is made or meant to be unhappy...just don't get unhappiness and hate, or love and a joy confused.
Good luck!

You ARE what you love - your interests, passions etc. If that was invalidated (by other egos) from the beginning of this life, hating what you do NOT like is a form of Self-validation. BUT, unless you move to the next step (HAVING what you love) you remain at the mercy of the learned identity (frustrated ego) who is getting secret pleasure (attachment) out of NOT having/experiencing what you love.
Is that as clear as mud? The ego is tricky, it will maintain the status quo (misery) as long as you don't notice what it's doing to separate you from 'full aliveness.'

Hate may be a natural and satisfying feeling after being wronged, but if you make it your cherished buddy for life, it will eventually tear you to shreads and destroy you entirely. It is not a life giving emotion, but the opposite. It is an emotion that will suck the very life out of you.

Its the old fight-or-flight reflex. What we hate, i.e. what we wish to fight, gets our adrenaline pumping, gets our senses on edge and attentive. Hate can make you feel real and fully-alive.
This, of course, has its downside and I would urge that you avoid addictive to this particular drug. But the answer to your question is "yes," according to our evolutionary history, it is quite clear that hate is a good feeling.

-We generally think of hate as a negative feeling ,not connected with happiness.
If you hate 'bad' things and -show- that you hate it you feel good about yourself.
Then there is enthusiasm, aggression, and, the emotional energy coming from an adrenaline rush.
Do you think you could be clumping a lot of other emotions/feelings into one ---calling them all "hate" ???

it's hopefully just that the rage purging causes an endorphine / adrenaline rush giving you the good feelings
if not you might be a bit twisted, if it begins to have a continued effect have a good objective look at yourself and your environment for causes.
then work on yourself -- in my experience digging yourself out of a hole is best.
