Have you ever seen your dad cry???

yes I had seen him cry a few times. When my sons were born and when he found out his cancer was terminal and he realized he would not be able to watch his grandchildren grow up. I still cry when I think of that

Yeah, I have. Which is really weird because my dad really doesn't like dealing with emotions very much... or at all. So when I see him cry, I know somethings wrong. And I go nuts.


But I've only seen it like twice in my 19 years.

Never a tear has my Dad shed. I'm the same way though. I heard my Grandfather cry for the first time at my Grandmothers funeral. It was the most horrific sound that I have ever heard.

Yes, after my uncle died. My dad was in the hospital when my uncle died unexpectedly, and he couldn't go to the funeral. When I asked him a couple weeks later how he was doing, he broke down and cried like I have never seen him cry before. I felt like such a loser for bringing it up.
Odd thing was, my dad died a year to the day after my uncle.

Yes. I saw him cry when he left my mom and then had to come back to the house to get his stuff. It sucked. That was a hard time for all of us.

Yes I have no idea what to do . I don't know whether to hug him, or cry too, or act like I don't see. I feel so messed up when he cries.

i've never seen my dad cried before, and I grew up thinking that man don't cry

But I still cried even when I was 21

Only once, I punched him in the neck (hard, really hard) and it hasn't happened again.

i think i've seen it twice.

once when i was real little and him and my mom got in a HUGE fight
the other was last year when i was diagnosed w/breast cancer.
