they are classed as substantially enclosed areas. Under the new law anything with more than three walls (inc. roof) is enclosed. Therefore a bus shelter could and would be classed as this. Also train stations although these are classed as places of work for railway staff.

Bus shelters are classed as public places. You also can not smoke in your own home if you have a workman calling or employ a cleaner!Incidentally England is the only country with a smoking ban in Europe which is not being ignored by its citizens.

Because we are the dumb british folk who allow ourselves to be trampled all over. It has 3 walls and a roof so can't smoke as classed as indoor.
NOTE it has only to be THREE walls and a roof to be classed as indoors, how stupid is that???
Lots of workplaces, mainly call centres built smoking areas years ago that are 3 walled and a roof, now smokers cant even smoke legally in their own smokers area.
You CAN still smoke in your own home though (even with workmen coming into house or cleaner etc etc, so where is the logic in that eh)and in any hotel room, anywhere that is classed as a home from home.(unless that hotel is specifically non smoking anyway)
Smokers are silly, did anybody try to stop this law? They did in oher countries where it banned.
I mean, by all means have non smoking pubs but also have smoking pubs, that way the barstaff and folk who don't want their lungs filled with smoke get the option to work for non smoking pubs and socialising in non smoking pubs and leave us smokers alone.
Complete ban is an infringement of our human rights but do you see any non smokers side with us, yet here I am as a smoker saying I see both sides and simple solution is to have smoking an non smoking pubs.

a lot of human beings hate going right into a pub through smoky environment. Why could they be inconvenienced? human beings who smoke can stay for some hours without smoking. that's a reality. it would sense like hell, although that's available. And in case you may not, then you fairly've genuine issues and might desire to decrease down. actually, that's for the good of all. purely provide it time to quiet down and you will ask your self what all the fuss grew to become into approximately, in some years time.

statistically drunk drivers kill more people whole families
