No, it doesn't always hurt like the first time. If it did, then no woman would ever have sex again.
Yes, you could be pregnant. You need to wait at least a few days before the test would be accurate.

You could get to a pharmacy and get Plan B (morning after pill) or you could wait until you miss your next period. That is when the test would be most accurate (it usually takes a week or so, but waiting that long would be more accurate).
You should also always keep a stash of condoms by your bed, or one in your purse (but take it out during the day as leaving it in there can compromise it) when you are going out just to be on the safe side. Condoms not only help prevent pregnancy but they protect from STDs and HIV, no birth control pill can do that. Honestly, you should be a lot more worried about the possible diseases than the pregnancy.
You should probably make an appointment with your OB-Gyn or your GP soon to be tested for pregnancy and STDs.
It doesn't always hurt like that...

Geez, the trolls are out in full force today. At any rate, you should just stop by a Planned Parenthood or something and do a pregnancy test or get morning-after treatment because honestly, even with protection (which is RARELY used correctly,) you do NOT want to take the chance of teen pregnancy. It sounds like you were completely caught up in the moment. Take a little while to think it through and have a plan next time you start messing around with guys. However, many girls choose to lose their virginity early for better or worse and it is not going to scar you for life or anything so just relax, breathe deeply and make sure you're not pregnant then move on with your life.

firstly u should always wear a condom just to be on the safe side.
u should take the morning after pill, ure Dr will give it to u or places like boots prescribe it free of charge. just 1 simple pill and no worries.
if ure having sex now u should make an app at ure Dr and b put on the birth control in case any more accidents happen and that way ule always b safe, not 100% tho.
it always does hurt the 1st time but it will get better and the more gentle the guy is the better for u, also try using lubricant to ease the pain.

Yup it does hurt the first time & let it be the last time you ever let a guy near you without a condom. You should also be on some form of birth control if you decide you are going to continue having sex. You should go to the doctor or a clinic TODAY and get the "morning after pill". This is your only recourse in guaranteeing that you won't get pregnant, You only have a limited amount of time to take this pill to prevent a pregnancy so make sure you get it today. Your family doctor is not allowed to tell your parents that you have asked for it so don't be worried if you have to go to him/her if there isn't a clinic near you.
Pregnancy is the least of your worries after having unprotected sex. Sexually transmitted diseases (STD's) are more dangerous and are life-long as well as life-threatening. Don't put yourself at risk.
You can get pregnant having sex the first time no matter what anyone tells you and depending on what part of the cycle you are in right now is how high a risk you took.

Take the morning after pill. It's called Plan B.

There might be better deals @ nearby pharmacies.
You seem young, so $40 or so may be a lot of money to you, but consider the alternative. The guy you did it with ought to fork out half of the cost of the pill. I am sure he wouldn't want you to become pregnant any more than you do.
It shouldn't hurt as much in the future. You possibly still had your hymen intact, which he probably broke and that caused the pain.
You can also experience discomfort (or mild pain) if you are not properly aroused (or lubricated) when he enters you, so it's important to only have sex when YOU want it, and that he takes his time to arouse you, and not just put it in right away before you're ready.
Sex is fun when you are ready for it, emotionally and otherwise. A lot of guys don't take enough responsibility in it, so you should weed out the ones who don't.
Best of luck.

Hannah, I'm not going to answer your question, so I don't expect any points, but after reading some of the other responses on this page I just want to say one thing...
Don't let anyone else here make you feel bad about what happened. This was your first time, and there are probably all sorts of things going through your head at the moment. We've all been in your situation in some form or another, even us guys. Yes, we all know what we should or shouldn't do, and yet we all make the same mistakes sooner or later (usually sooner). Expecting to be fully responsible during your first sexual experience is a bit like expecting to be fully responsible during your first drinking experience; it happens for some, but for most of us it's just one of those things we have to chalk up to inexperience. Best of luck....believe it or not the day will come when you look back on this and smile :)

Hi Hannah,
The first thing you need to do is go to your doctor and ask for the morning after pill (sometimes called the emergency pill). Dont be embarrassed they deal with this everyday and will respect you for doing the right thing!
The pill is effective for up to 72 hours after you have sex.
The next thing to do is to get checked out for STDs. Condoms are there to not only protect you from getting pregnant but also to keep you safe from diseases. Chances are you wont have anything, but if you do, the sooner you find out the better so that it can be cleared up. (Wait around a week before booking an appointment with a clinic or doctors) - again they do thie ALL the time do please dont be shy.
If you are planning to have sex regularly now, you should consider going on the pill. Discuss your options with the doctor when you go for the morning after pill, they will tell you which contraception is best suited to you.
Personally I found sex hurt the first few times. The first time is because you have skin inside your vagina which is broken when you have sex the first time. After this you may be tense or nervous as it hurt before, and when you are tense, it can be uncomfortable. Try to take your time next time, get into it slowly and it should be fine. (it gets better with time anyway so dont worry!!)
Good Luck, and remember weve all been there!

It doesn't always hurt, and wait about a maybe 2 weeks before you are supposed to have your period. And next time make him wear a condom, you can't say it happened so fast. You knew he was in, right then and there tell him to get off and put on on! Being pregnant is one thing. But getting an std is something that could kill you! good luck

Well, you should wait until about five or six days before you're period is supposed to begin. This is the only time when tests will be accurate as the menstruation cycle emits different chemicals and other signals are sent when the body knows you've been empregnated. That's what tests detect and there's a limited amount of time when tests actually give accurate readings. Earlier than this is likely to test negative. For all you kinow you might not technically be pregnant yet as the sperm have yet to reach your egg. The morning after pill is only available to women who have been raped and even they don't always get one. If you do test positive for pregnancy and are not ready to have a child, either go to a state where abortion is legal or you'll be forced to either scrape a living and raise him or put him up for adoption. Best case scenario, you test negative.

go get the morning after pill just in case from your pharmacy, docs, or family planning then take a test after the date your next period is due, if it doesn't turn up (a late period can be stress induced mind so try not to worry too much)
always use a condom in future regardless of how fast or slow it goes.
yes it does hurt a little the first couple of times but nothing like the first time so dont worry, just get on the pill or use condoms next time.
