ive just read a clip about a toddler being found dead in her home through multiple stab wound and her mother is recovering in hospital that poor family

it makes me mad that there are so many sick and twisted people in this world and its always the inncents who pay

why kill a child if its the parent you have issues with

what the hell is this world coming to when your no longer safe in your own home

it seems to me that there are way to many stories like this it seems so unfair that a child has to suffer because of something the parent has done

i thought it was the mother at first but who knows i just think its a shame that the baby had to pay with her life thats all

And the liberals want to take away most means you have of protecting yourself. If Hillary is elected, YOU could become a bigger criminal than the people you describe if you don't allow yourself and child to be killed.

In addition to this, your freedom of speech could become nullified, as well as other rights that you take for granted.

God help that poor baby.

There seems to have been a spate of child abuse/murders recently. This is the third one I have read about in the last few weeks. The sad thing, is it's usually the parents or relatives who have perpetrated this type of horrific abuse.

While I understand that Filicide, (the act of killing your own child) has been around since animals first started reproducing, what I can't comprehend is why someone would have a child in the first place, if all they are going to do is torture the poor mite. I mean, actually giving birth is no picnic, so why go through all of that, simply to abuse the baby?

It reminds me of a quote from the film Parenthood. I shall paraphrase, because I don't remember it exactly, but its something like:

"You have to have a license to drive a car, you have to have a license to catch a fish, but they'll let any butt reaming ar**hole be your Dad"

I'm not trying to be flippant, but I think that sums it up. Just because you CAN have kids, doesn't mean you SHOULD have them.

This is nothing new. Innocents throughout history have been killed brutally. I read an article once where it said that 85% of child killers, be it female or male, do it to get back at their spouse, etc. Crazy isn't it? Why have kids if you are not going to love them and take care of them?

Good answer Lululaluau - however, humans hold the title for child killing, etc. You don't see many animals being as cruel to their young as humans are. Look at how gentle alligators are with their offspring. Humans take the cake on all kinds of cruelty. And we have the nerve to call animals, animals.

Barking is a vile nasty place, my husband was born there and left a few years ago. Crime is awful in that area, if you get chance to read their local paper many of you would be shocked to actually see what goes on in that area. Muggings, rape, robbery the list is endless. Also Barking has a very high number of immigrants many illegal I am sure. White British people are now the minority.

My heart goes out to that poor child, I myself have a daughter just a bit younger. her dad takes her to visit her nanny in Barking, next time I'll be beside myself with worry.

I dont know how people can do that sort of thing. The idea of murdering a person (let alone a child) chills me. There is no way I will ever understand why people murder and torture. I dont know what the worlds comin to either. What happened to being able to let kids roam around there estate and not worry about other nutters?

Why did you assume an outsider had done it.

As soon as I read the story I knew it was most likely the woman herself (murder - suicide attempt) or possibly a relative.

..... why are there still people in this world who don't understand the concept that family members kill more children than strangers. It seems like I have to keep explaining this in the case of the McCanns.

I get your point bex that is sick but also you can't necessarily blame the mother as noone deserves to have their home intruded and to be stabbed regardless of the situation (especially if you have a young child). I hope whoever done this cannot live with themselves the sick bastard.

the police said it was the mother ~said they were not looking for anyone else, ~apparently the local news agent shop had complained to the police before about the mothers attitude towards the child but the police took no notice and look what happens,~ how the hell can any mother hurt their own baby,its so very sad~

Agreed, killing a child is sick and twisted. Since when did it become acceptable to kill an adult because of some supposed argument. What is truly sick and twisted is how acceptable the use of violence has become to settle differences!

There are a lot of mentally unstable people out there ... that is why me and a lot of my friends think you should have to pass rigorous training and go through psycological evaluations to be allowed to have kids ... they always seem to get the short end of the stick ... the helpless are at our mercy ...
