I say Pudge Rodriguez but that's because I was a catcher for 13 years and he plays for the Tigers, so I'm a little bit biased.
All time, I say Yogi Berra because he only struck out an average of ONE time every 20 plate appearances (counting AB's and BB's) (414 K's in 19 years in his career)
Perspective: Barry Bonds strikes out, on average, ONE time every 8 plate appearances

Jonathan Papelbon. I just love watching him pitch in the 9th inning and his intensity/passion for the game is amazing. I also love Dustin Pedroia too. I think he's a great kid who shows a lot of heart and plays bigger than his size on the field.

Well, my favorite active players are Chipper Jones, Brian McCann, Jeff Francouer, Mark Teixeria, and the rest of the Atlanta Braves team.
My all time favorite player is Lou Gehrig!
Go Braves!

Albert Pujols. Who else in the league is a more feared hitter than him? He's a hell of a defensive player. He doesn't strike out often. He always puts the ball in play. Last year he completed his US citizenship and he's just happy to be in America playin ball.
