Also if you take paypal they also charge you a stupid amount of money to receive the payment, and obviously the higher the payment the more they take, plus in future you could find yourself out of pocket if the car buyr does a chargeback. You will be minus car and money.
It is ok to sell on ebay as longas you take fees into consideration. You will get quite a few asking you if you have a buy it now price in mind so you may even list it in a auction and arrage (not allowed to do it but loads do) for eople to come view with a buy it now in mind and sell it outside of ebay afterall, whereas you just canel your auction, saves on FVF.
Good luck

There are several variables when it comes to your cost. You can get these answered through eBay. I bought a car off eBay and the seller and I have actually become friends since. We we're both pleased with the transaction.
Oh, only accept cashiers checks (quickest & safest). I would not accept PayPal for a car transaction. Too high a risk.

I have sold 1 car on Ebay & bought 2 cars. All were over 10k each. Don't take a money order or casheirs check unless you give them 5-7 days to clear. I took paypal. I don't recall it being very expensive to do.

i offered a 1993 honda accord for $a million,500 those days, and it value me approximately $250 in expenses. yet, i had to relist it two times. so, you would be paying someplace between $a hundred-$one hundred fifty including ideas like extra photographs, featured itemizing, and purple highlighting. sturdy success

£8.00 per listing - and a FVF to consider too. HOnestly, I wouldn't - Autotrader is a better and safer bet, I think!
And if you do do it, DON'T take Paypal - the potential for fraudulent card use, a chargeback etc are way too high.

yeah its fine, we sold a motorbike, just advertise, sell to highest bidder and they come to pick up to you with the cash, no cheques, or Paypal -wait for it to clear then let them come and get it. Safe as.

It is less hassle to sell it through autotrader.
With the amount of scammers and people who will bid only to decide to not buy.

THE COST WILL RANGE BUT LIKE IT WAS SAID BEFORE, IT WOULD BE BETTER AND CHEAPER TO SELL IT IN THE AUTOTRADER.
