Im sorry if I didnt make myself clear. I know the names in english and how they look like. What I wanted is the translation to derija!!

Are you trying to describe them to somebody in Morocco so that they can buy them for you? I would suggest just telling them in French or in Standard Arabic. They might have special words for it in the dialect but something so standard like precious stones....I kind of doubt it.

And really, if they know French it's pretty much the same for the most part but guys tend to be a bit more clueless there about these things. LOL

I agree with Fez on this one. None of these stones will have a derija word for them. They will be referred to by their Arabic name or French name.
Derija is about 50% Arabic, 40% Moroccan slang/dialect, 10% French........my own analysis :-)

look on the Internet put precious stones in the search engine and look at the pictures of them too! print them off for your reference. I know lots of names of stones but what is the use if you cannot see what they look like for reference,
a few to get you going are:- clear quartz, blue agate, tiger eye, citine, red jasper. have a good day :o)

Buy a Berlitz pocket dictionary for that language. I have them for many languages and use it for traveling. . . .never without words
