Yes. My boyfriend is long distance, so I often find myself in that situation.

But it used to that I was in that situation whenever I had a crush on a guy. He didn't know, of course, so whenever I was around him, I was wishing so much that he'd just reach over and hold my hand or kiss me or something. I'd be tormented by it, and he was totally clueless.

It's so much nicer when you're with the one you love & he loves you back. Then whenever you want a hug or a kiss he's right there, and whenever he wants a hug or a kiss, you're right there. And whenever my boyfriend and I are together, we're holding hands. That's probably partly because of the long distance, once we're together, we don't want to let go.

Absolutely! And it hurts a lot to not be able to. But I like to trust that a greater force is at work that knows if and when the time will ever be right, and so I don't have to worry about it.

Not at the minute, but once we start talking properly again I know I won't be able to do that with my ex-fiancee, as it would probably lead to us getting back together.

And that I something I will NOT let happen because of the reason I split with her.
