or a similar expensive sports car, it should be driven as it was meant to be? why pay big bucks for a car whose speedometer goes up to like 180 but never drive it over 50?? pointless. i see it all the time, and I totally shake my head in disgust and tell the person trade it in for a caddy if ya want to drive like an old person. if someone can afford a porche, they can afford a speeding ticket. ha! learn how to have fun!!

I don't really think that much of it. I would prefer if someone, regardless of the car that they drive, would always drive the speed limit. It's more dangerous if someone gets into an accident if they are over the speed limit. It greatly reduces someone's mileage. It makes it difficult to get anywhere near the mpg that you are supposed to be getting. Driving a car fasting that the speed limit on a particular road is dangerous anyway. The limit is meant to be the fastest way someone can drive safely on that particular road. Also, most importantly for me, driving even 5 miles over the speed limit will cause greater carbon dioxide emissions and cause the global warming to be even worse. It's bad for the environment to speed. =0)

Agreed.

Just the other day I saw someone driving a Mercedes 45mph on an Interstate Highway! So sad. Poor little car.

Yes!!
If they can't drive it right, they don't deserve to have it, and they need to give it to me so that it can be driven by someone who knows what a fast car is for!
:O)

They probably desire a sports car for appearance only and not speed. I don't see what's wrong with them buying a Rolls Royce or Mercedes if they desire appearance...
