You're stealing my vibe, honey! Hmm, I think it's great! You do have a talent, in my opinion.
It highlights the danger of over-drinking, the shock of being eaten by a shark and the scary side of a nice day at the beach. I would get this published. It's very good, with a great twist at the end.

1) I don't think parents would allow their kids to buy it. 2) The kids would be more sensible than you in not buying it 3) You have no talent - that story is crap xxx

sounds like it could make it to the best sellers list.
as far as developing your characters, only if you decide to go from short stories to novels.
