It really depends on th circumstances, who did it, the nature of the betrayal, and so forth. Most (but not all) people deserve a second chance---but NOT a third chance!

It depends on how severely you hurt this someone,and on the personlaity on the person you hurt...some people forgive easily and you can get their trust back...others are very stubborn and wouldn't ever give you their trust back.

it depends on what was done. it could take years of having to prove yourself. sometimes you never get it back.
