Because he drives the car not the race.
So if I put markings on a car ties, am I a Marksist?
With this logic, a person working within the fashion industry would be a facist? A taxi driver would be a taxist? A lawyer would be a lawist? It is a funny twist, but the dual meaning would distort the sport …. even though racing started in the south, and we all suspect that is the capitol of racism.
PS : ur very funny

Lmao. Very good observation legend..I think a racecar driver would be called a racist..but since it is already assigned to a worthless bunch of people they figured they'd better not use it...thats my guess.
