This si really really embarassing but I really need help in what to do. I;m going to be living in a dorm soon and Ill have to shower in the dorm's shower which is basically a publis bathroom. At hoem theres a trashcan and a toilet etc. near the shower so i dont have to worry about "leaks" before I get dressed and out of the bathroom. But the dorm showers are going to be different. What are you supposed to do when your in a public shower, theres no trashcan or toilet near you and you cant just walk outta the shower risking "leaks" on teh floor....this is really embarassing and maybe gross but I really need help in how I should ahndle this

Wear a tampon and then you wont have to worry about leaks.

Can you lock the door or anything? You should be able to otherwise that is really gross and a privacy violation. Then put paper towel or normal towel on the floor, when you're finished get dressed in the shower room and clean up the mess, if any? I don't quite understand how it works but I would think you should be able to get dressed in there. The other obvious answer is to keep your tampon in while you shower.

I used to stay in a dorm too.
Change your pad/tampon before you shower (you can do it in your room or in the toilet, where trashcan is available). You can put the pad on before stepping out of the shower.. There should be no problem showering with your tampon.
