Please get a second opinion!
Endometriosis is so underestimated & not taken seriously by alot of drs.
I'm not trying to scare you but i have 2 friends that have this problem.
My cousin was told she wouldn't be able to have kids, but luckely she did.
My other friend suffered intense pain for years, the drs gave pills but they didn't work. Eventualy in her late 30s they operated to cut out the endometriosis, but by now it was too rampent, They had to give her a compleat hysterectomy. BUT the endometriosis had spread to her other internal organs (bladder, intestines) She will be in pain for the rest of her life (Which (baring accident) will end when the endometriosis turns cancerous & does too much damage) :-(
Please don't underestimate the problems endometriosis can cause. Get a second opinion. In extreame cercomstanses your life could be at risk.

Sometimes with laparoscopy if the doctor doesn't have a lot of knowledge about all the colors that endometriosis comes in the diagnosis of endometriosis can be missed. I would recommend getting a second opinion and preferably from someone that does not share the same office of the doctor yo currently see.

A situation like this is exactly WHY people should seek a second Diagnosis! You need to go and see A Different Doctor to see if he says about the Same thing! DO IT! It's much better than the first Doctor to be Wrong, and they are sometimes!

The ultrasound practitioner will study the images and send a report to your doctor. You may be shown some of the images during the examination and you will have the opportunity to discuss them.
The ultrasound practitioner may able to tell you the result of your examination immediately after the scan in most instances. However, sometimes, images may need to be reviewed and, therefore, it is not always possible to answer all your questions straight away.

Anytime you have woman troubles keep going to the doctors until they give you an answer and treatment that works and you're comfortable with.
I'm appalled by the lack of knowlegde most doctors (male&female) have about infections and diseases that affect the cervix, uterus, and fallopian tubes.
Also try not to self-diagnose because that can lead to unneccessary worry and stress that will only make everything worse.
