I'm going to my neighbours to babysit their 2 and 4 year old kids tomorrow. I don't know them very well - and also dont know how much i should expect to be payed? Ill be theyre from 7-11 and im 13 today!!:D. Shall i take a book or something to do, or just expect that they'll let me watch telly? If they wake up - shall i just put them back to bed? Their mum says they can watch TV - but imnot sure if shes just saying that? Were new to the area - is this a test? They are lovely people and im very excitd though!!

They may want you to pay some games with them or read to them. I would also find out what their bedtime is, an emergency phone number, and if you should give them anything to eat or snack on. Bring a book in your purse just in case. Do not let them out of your sight. 2 and 4 year olds can get into a lot of trouble if not constantly observed. As far as payment, call a friend that babysits and ask their price, or ask the couple what they usually pay their sitter.

Make sure your Mum is home "on standby" just in case.
