Nothing wrong with honest speculation, but some of the questions on here are just plain psycho

No I don't think speculation does any good.
Numerous miscarriages of justice have occurred in the UK due to Media Speculation.
I don't see how the McCanns are profitting from this awful situation. The money raised goes toward finding Maddie and other missing children.
I think that YOU Dave if in the same situation, would be a money grabber. Your questions reflect your inner ideals.

I think it's ok to discuss the case as it unfolds in the media.
I try not to speculate or guess what has happened to Madeleine as I don't know that, but I am willing to keep an open mind.
I worked previously within the legal system in this country in a capacity that bought me very close to offenders of whom were either on trial or who had been convicted and I am not shocked nowadays at what people are capable of.

If freedom of speech has any validity then we should be able to speculate on who we like, that said there needs to be some form of liable/slander/defamation laws, though I'm not sure that the UK's are the right ones on balance.

Specualtion is acceptable - it is within the rights of every human being to have an opinion. However, over-speculation is riduculous when people are accusing the McCanns of murder when there is literally no evidence to support their claims. I think certain people on this site lack logic and simply form an opinion by reading the opinions of others - i.e. getting on the bandwagon.

I think everyone is aloud to think what they want some of the stuff that has been said is a bit unfair as there is no proof as yet its all hearsay but i don’t agree with the fact some people have turned a blind eye to the fact they left their children and the fact they don’t seem to be using the money the have been given to find maddy!!!

You are within your legal rights to speculate about the McCanns, You are not within your legal rights to post slanderous remarks and defamatory speculation. You are also not legally allowed to incite hatred as the mob of hyenas are doing here.
Morally your comments are reprehensible and disgusting
Further I'd like to take the opportunity to address the clowns who visit this section with nothing to go on other than tabloid fodder and reach conclusions that have not been reached by trained Police and forensic workers. It's true the less you know the more you believe you know. Exactly what qualifications and first hand access to evidence have you vindictive, heartless armchair detectives had? Or are you all just being mob handed on a nasty witch hunt? There really is only one answer. But I'll content myself with the knowledge that what goes around, comes around.
I'm not at all concerned whether or not I receive violation notices or get removed (which I suspect will happen, knowing as I do that the truth hurts). I shall not be intellectually any poorer for the absence of any edification from you.

of course we can speculate , its a natural occurance of the brain when things dont add up
Unless somebody turns me into a stepford wife i will continue to think for myself and if some things dont make sense i will try and put a logical argument foreward
what else can we do as we know we are not getting the truth

Sure, we can speculate about anything ! I'm no fan of these dismal self-publicists, but they haven't been convicted of anything (yet), so I'd not call them criminals at the moment. They have transformed the tragic story of the disappearance and probable murder of a child into another cretinous media circus.
There are so many wrongs in the world, this is just one of many, and I'm bored with it. It's about time you moved on, too, Dave.
