I tried sprays, several kind it works for a day or so but then more return. I know they're coming from under the seats but i just cant find out where. My 10 month old got Bit in the face by one yesturday so I completely fed up. Anybody Got any suggestions before i go get a rental car

As there is a 10 month old involved and they end up touching things, I would involve a professional (Licensed and insured) exterminator. He should be able to provide the safest and most expedient cure for your situation.

Having said that, it seems that they have nested in your car. You are going to have to find the nest and remove it. This may be a bit difficult as it may be in an inaccessible place. You might require/desire a mechanic to do this. If you don't get the nest, your sprays are only going to kill the ants that are outside the nest at the time you spray.

You also want to rid your car of any food sources (crumbs, wrappers, etc.) so the stop coming in looking for food. I know this is tough with a 10 mo old, but it is a needed step.

My guess is that you have an old candy bar stuck under the seat somewhere, otherwise the ants would have no reason to be there or any way to sustain themselves. A tried and true method for killing ants is boric acid powder (sold in supermarkets as a roach killer) mixed with maple syrup. They will take the stuff back to their nest, eat it, and explode. Might cause sticky carpets though.

Set off a bug bomb inside of it. Wait a day or so and then clean the inside.
