Had a newt that only ate live worms. It was a bit difficult finding just the right size worms all the time. She's escaped now, so god knows what she's eating now.

My Siamese cat chose it all by himself. It was a great, big Canadian salmon fillet, 450g, in a wrapper, on a styrofoam tray. I had put it on the kitchen table and went to use the phone. When I came back into the kitchen, there was no salmon, just one, big, happy cat.
I don't know how he got the wrapper off, or where that went.
Another day, when I was planning a cheese fondue, he had licked all the flour off one of the baguettes.
Ugh...

Aside from spiders and stuff, I've seen the cat eat popcorn, yoghurt, cereal, chocolate, paper, grass and other assorted oddments! She even likes toffee pops (biscuits) but they get stuck in her teeth, lol.
And before people have a fit at me, I know all of this stuff is really bad for her and it's not like I give her handfuls of popcorn and crisps and chocolate (which I know is exceptionally bad for her) she just wants to try everything we eat.
Her regular diet consists of normal cat food (mix of pouches and the dried stuff), fish on a Saturday and meat from the leftovers.

My last pet was a cat and usually a fish was a nice dish.

my dog (Hector) decided to chew on a satsuma someone dropped, everybody was laughing at the disgusted look on his face, because of all the attention he started eating eat to get more laughs, he ended up eating the whole thing, peel and all.
We were convulsed at the comical expressions he was pulling as he swallowed it down, he is SUCH a show off, and looked so proud as the last lump went down.

I'm very careful what I feed my pets, lots human foods are toxic, but I do take them to Burger King on their birthday and get them a plain hamburger. They love that.
