My period came back in May I stopped breastfeeding in June. My period came on the same day both times but when July came I spotted the week before and of my expected period. I took two tests both said no. I am having heartburn I only ever had it when I was pregnant and body aches. I went and had a blood test it also said negative. So what is going on? I had been trying to use the ovulation calculators but with everything going crazy I don't know which day I am ovulating. I don't want a big gap between our kids so I would like to get pregnant soon. Any suggestions

I think in your case, I wouldn't be too concerned about when I'm ovulating as your cycle is still getting back on track. If you try taking you temp every morning for the next 2-3mths that will help you get a pattern together, also have sex every 3days or so during the month. That should cover all your basis for the meantime. If you haven't fallen pregnant by 3mths then try the following. Once you have a better idea of temps, periods, sex etc.. you'll be better able to calculate when you're ovulating and then narrow down your 'baby making' days! You'll also be able to use ovulation tests kits better if you wait a few months to start calculating anything.
Good luck!

By charting your cycle you will be able to see when/if you are ovulating. Simply take your temperature when you wake up every morning, it will rise when you ovulate and will stay higher until your next cycle - about 14 days later. Once released you egg remains viable for fertilisation for just 12-24 hours. Also keep an eye on your mucus. It will become stretchy like egg-white as you approach ovulation.

You can download from internet Soundtells Cycle Calculator.
http://www.soundtells.com/CycleCalc/index.html

There you just insert your periods etc. and it will calculate your cycle and show in colours when it's best time to try.

It's an excellent thing and it worked with me!!!

I bought the ovulation sticks that you pee on to get an idea. When I'd done that I started to notice symptoms when I was like a stomach cramp, bigger boobs.....helped me to know each month.

Charting your BBT is the best way to learn a pattern of your cycles and see when you are ovulating even if your cycles are weird.

Your body might still be regulating itself so just be patient, I know easier said than done.
