Last night, I watched the Perseid meteor shower.

Since I'm in a rural area there were very few light sources, giving me a fantastic view. The night sky is truly incredible to see when you're away from the city. It's easy to understand why the ancient people believed the stars were where the gods themselves dwelled :]

Funny you ask because the other nite I was watching that Meteor shower. I live in the Cali desert and this is where the news media said for Socal residents to come for viewing and I'll tell you it was a bit of a disappointment for me. The conditions were ideal but the shower unfortunately was not. I watched for about 2 and a half hours and their just wasn't enough activity to hold my interest. There were a few that looked like rescue flares shot from a boat that were pretty cool but they were just too far and in between. The Milky Way was out in full force. Which is always a pleasure to view.

Last night, meteor shower but we had a cloud cover and missed it. Amazing things those stars. Great question by the way, makes you stop and think about "stopping and thinking"!

The final 3 nights because of the fact it wasn't cloudy. while became the final time you appeared by way of a Telescope and observed the jewelry of Saturn? Or a exact-up of the Moon? are you able to call the Constellations you observed? do no longer answer, only relish the celebrities. they are appealing.

I was out there just a couple hours ago with my hubby and kids. We were watching what's left of the Perseid's Meteor Shower. We had better viewing last night, but were also able to stay up a bit later. *

last night. well i usually talk to my bf on the back step. it's beautiful at night, i'm talking to him but at the same time looking up and admiring how incredibly beautiful the night sky really is, i sometimes even see a shooting star or two, makes our conversation magical too, he likes to look at the night sky when i do so that when we're not together we can know that we can't be too far away from one another. so lovely... *sigh* ; )
