Its not cancer or anything like that, because cancer lumps dont hurt. so stop stressing. I'm 17 too by the way. It sound like it might just be normal growth pain, or even just normal pain, lots of people get sore breasts around that time o the month. Another thing to consider is your bra's, many women wear bra's that don't fit and it ould be that you've grown in cup size but not in back size, and need to get a wider cup, ofter the wire puts pressure on the breast tissue and this can make it hurt too.
If you've tested negitive 4 times its probably safe to say your not, I dont know why your still stressing. Its often normal for teenage girls to have irregular periods, and especially because you seem like a stresser; missed periods are often caused by stress. I'm not sure if you need to worry, if you feel an actual LUMP, not just breast tissue (I thought I had a lump too until I realised its just normal breast tissue) then its probably best to get it looked at by your GP or a specialist. Hope I helped!

Okay sweety don't panick....but to be on the safe side you should see a doctor. Both the pian and the lump can occur from a number of reasons so don't think of the worst. I had a lump years ago and i panicked but i went to the doc the next day and it was a ball of cyst which i had removed, it can also be swollem lymph notes since you have pian close to your underarm...it can be many things just go to the doc because u won't know for sure untill you do and also bcuz you've missed your period, which can happen from stressing so much...so no need for panick attacks just see a doc =) Take care...best wishes

As you have already tested, it is unlikely that you are pregnant so relax! Your painful lump is probably an enlarged gland. This happens from time to time-maybe you ave been run down recently? You don't need to worry about cancer or anything like that-you are too young for that to be a realistic possibility and also those lumps don't hurt.

Breasts change throughout your teens so it could just be growing pains.
Visit a doctor if you need more reassurance.

As for this lump you noticed it could have just been a lymph node (an important part of our immune system). I had a friend that noticed a lump around her breast area in the area you described and she asked the doctor about it. He said it was a lymph node that was at work.

Please also let your mom know about this just so that she can help you keep an eye on it if changes should start to occur.

there is absolutely nothing to panic about. lumps occur all the time in breast esp at this age. too much squeezing, and handling of breasts can also form lumps, at times they can be painful on touching also. but most likely its nothing abnormal. painful breasts can be due to progesterone hormone, but in order to alleiviate anxiety and surely rule out any abscess or infection its wise to once consult a doctor and have a medical checkup.
