You will need to reinstall all your Hardware Drivers, including your printer. The problem with a total reinstall is the time it takes. To reinstall your drivers, after installing Vista, insert the Drivers Disk that came with your ADSL Modem, Router or Hub and just follow the instructions. Usually, you just keep clicking "OK". Let the Drivers install to the destination that the software is configured to, which is usually C:\\Program Files or C:\\ Windows\System. You might just be lucky, when you insert the Windows Vista Disk, you may just get the chance to "Repair". If you do get that option, select it. Windows will then repair any corruptions with the System Files and all other files should remain on your Hard Drive. This means that you won't have to reinstall any Drivers. If you don't get the repair option, then click on "Install" and Windows should overwrite the System Files etc. this may also leave your Drivers Files intact. However, if you are really unlucky, you will only get one option and that is to "Format". Sadly, if that is the case, you will lose all your programs and files.

depends, i u have adsl router and not some cheap usb thing u dont have too..... usually there is no need... just letting vista to get ip adress from router, but that is default to... so no worry... if u have usb style connection, then u should have a cd too, use that to set it up....
