The summer is always somewhere in the world. You are just in the wrong place at the moment. Our human experience of the world is miniscule compared with its actual existance so trying to forecaste trends in climate is very very haphazard. It easy to say when the sun rises and sets etc. as statistics give tiny margins of error but forecasting the weather is a bit like forecasting where a hundred balls will land if thrown in the air on a windy day

Summer was here last weekend and the bad news is that this morning it seems to have gone and the rain is back. I am packed and ready to leave for a two day break to the coast and although the long range forecast said "sunny intervals and warm" last friday, today it says... "continued showers and unsettled weather". Why oh why cant we get the weather forecasts right in this country? So the simple answer to your question is......Summer is cancelled.. sorry!!!

Summer was the weekend after Easter. Sorry you missed it. Probably the next opportunity for hot sunny weather will be Christmas Day

I think summer stalled out here in the US. Most of the country is sunny and highs over 100 degrees F (38 C for the rest of the world). You can have it back, it's gross.

It's rained across most of England for all but two days since Gordon Brown came to power. When Blair came to power we had weeks of baking sunshine. This surely cannot be a coincidence.

it kind of came early in march to april remember. in leicester we had a couple of hot sunny days this year but most of the summer months it has been raining. I think we will have a BETTER summer next year don't worry.
