In New Zealand its world maths week & we have to go on website, answer quetsions etc. One question is particualy bugging me & I was wondering if someone could lend a helping hand...? Here it is:

This cipher appeared in an old Royal Air Force pocket book dated 1937. It is a transposition type cipher with a message asking for help.

What is the message?

How many more men need to be sent?

Someone else already gave the answer. But you are wrong. This is not a transposition but a substitution cipher.

To get the message move each character back 4 characters. So for example (no Bs or Ds so I skipped them).
A - ZYXW becomes W
C - BAZY becomes Y
E - DCBA becomes A
