If things are this bad, you might consider getting on BCPs eventually. But right now, girl, go get some Pamprin Extra Strength near the Tylenol, etc in Wal-Mart!! Worked wonders for me, especially during that first day when it's hell!! I used to have to sit in a chair with a heating pad (another option) on my tummy just so I wouldn't freak out. Also, drink plenty of water and soak in a warm bath. Good luck!!

I know how you feel, except that when I get my cycle I have major
diarrhea with it, so I take something like Imodium AD. In your
case I would start with a mild stool softener, like Correctol. This isn't a laxative, per say, but a softener. As for the pain, is it your normal, every month typical period pain? If so, then get some Midol
for the discomfort. If it feels like a different kind of pain, that you can hardly stand, go to the ER. You may have an ovarian cyst or some other serious problem going on. Good luck

This needs to be evaluated by a doctor to see what they think is going on before trying any castor oil. Also drink a lot of water. One reason constipation can occur is because of not getting enough water to help our intestinal tract stay hydrated (with water).

I agree. Midol is the way to go. Give it about an hour to start to have an effect on you. Lay down and try to relax. If you start to feel really warm, try lying on the floor or getting a cold compress. That usually works for me.

It all hurts like a *****, but after an hour, it usually goes away.

i think you should go to the ER they will give you something for the pain and something for constipation that is safe in a case like this . There are plenty of drugs for constipation that can help that are not dangerous in a situation such as yours hope i have helped please find a ride to the ER its nothing to take lightly
