There is a big difference between the word "bear" [the animal] and "bare" [without covering].

"Bare-fisted" refers to boxing without boxing gloves. Not using gloves inflicts more damage. Wal-Mart takes no prisoners in trying to reduce the cost of products it buys. Some suppliers make little or no profit on the products it sells to Wal-Mart.
