Often people spend quite a bit of time imagining all sorts of terrible things that can happen to them. It turns out that because they have done this, they also have considered many options for how to handle the situation, and thus have the solution already in mind. So, it's really not that bad, after all. For example, if you have a job interview, you may be thinking of all the questions you could be asked that you don't have the answers to. For every question you don't know the answer to, start thinking of what would be a good solution for that problem. Just keep going like that for all the challenges you have. it's surprising just how creative you can be.

If they worried a lifetime chances are they subconsciously set up the situation for this worse fear to come true.
If they survived their worst fear, they will have to develop another worst fear to fill the gap in them the first fear left.
Or they will be relieved and thankful to Jesus for carrying them and resolve not to put themselves in the same situation.
Its up to the person. If that moment ever comes they can shrink into a protoplasmic ball, or rise to the occasion and use it as a source of experience,to develop inner strength and to gain knowledge.
Best to you.

i have actually had this type of thing happen to me a few times in my life. you lose so much time by fixating on what could happen that you miss the here and nows that can be wonderful. those that are ultra negative will focus even more on the bad things that have happened that they have been worrying about for SO long . it is a vicious cycle. i do believe that someone could go mad by dwelling on their fears too much.

Face up to that fear with a sense of curiosity to replace the fear. I usually find what I had feared and worried about so much, turned out to be miniscule to the actual reality.
Being curious about it turns into sort of a game that I play with now, and it has empowered me.

Well if I saw dead people coming after me I'd die of shock and fear.
