Why do 89% of Americans believe the holocaust did'nt happen. Maybe because there were no videos of Hitler discussing killing all Jews. Why would he? Just because they have big noses and steal everyones money thats no excuse. The broader question is this, was it 20 million acts of random violence or was there some conspiracy? One of the greatest questions of life, I suspect.

Actually the number of holocaust deniers are approximately 89.71% in a recent survey in the magazine jewed out. They have some good points. I dont know if I believe that hitler was in on it or it was a jewish plot to help steal land from the arabs. Good question though.

The Jews did not suffer in Germany because there was no Holocaust. Actually it was the Jews that was torturing the poor blond haired deprived Germans. Those tattoos on the Jews arms and hands that are still alive today (by the grace of God) are really there because they want to be hip.

4. Aliens landed in Roswell and we transported them to Area 51 to back engineer their technology, where do you think the stealth air craft came from? Again, we kept it secret by brain washing the thousands of workers who were in on the scam.

5. The Moon we see every night is really not there along with the planets, stars as well as the Planet Killing Asteroids. Those were put there by the evil United States to toy with our minds.

6. The fossils of homo eructus, neandertals and 15 other hominids that are extinct were put there by paleotologists, archeologists, and assorted rock hounds to enhance their careers. Creationism is the only reality.

7. America is a conspiracy and is a fake country and none of us Americans really live here.

There are still holocaust survivors living today. If you have a holocaust museum near you ask if they have anyone there who can give you personal experiences. You will never doubt the holocaust happened. There are many good books on this subject and the answers arent alway simple. do some internet research and I think you will find that the 89% figure you quoted is not accurate. Hitler certainly had a plan it was not random acts of violence, he had some deep seated personal issues with Jews. He blamed his mothers jewish doctor when he could not save her life and then after WW1 when most germans lived in desparate need it was the jews who were economic successes. He saw them as exploiting the german people. Of course its all much more complicated than these few reasons and you need to do some in depth research to begin to understand it. I spent a whole semester at Uni on this topic and it certainly is fascinating. Look up the phone book, find a holocaust or jewish museum and visit your local library and you will find some answes. I think the real question is How or why did the german people let Hitler do what he did. Did they know what he was doing or not, if they did how much responsibility do they share as a nation. I know the german government has officially apologised so they certainly dont deny the holocaust. One question leads to another. This reallly is a very big topic. Happy researching

First thing - anyone that denies the Holocaust ever happened is a moron. The Holocaust denial theories are mainly put forward by white supremacist / racist European men who believe that Hitler was sent to save the white race via making Germany powerful.

One of the main questions of the Holocaust is how many people actually died. While the figure of 6 million is generally agreed upon, Holocaust deniers use this rough figure of 6 million to dispute that it happened - saying that the figure of 6 million has been greatly exaggerated.

These morons ask - if 6 million people were killed, where are the bodies of the 6 million dead?

Another main argument of Holocaust deniers is that there was any conspiracy to kill the jews. Idiots such as David Irving deny that Hitler had ever planned to kill the jews, and that any killings that took place did so randomly by Himmler's SS officers.

There are some holocaust deniers who say that the killings too place against the background of war and that the killings were not a conspiracy but the deaths of the jews took place as random acts of war.

Other morons deny that Zyklon B - which was used when the pellets were put into the ventilation system - was capable of killing anyone. Some even go as far as to say that Auschwitz was not capable of processing the amount of people that it did - even saying that there were no gas chambers.

Its unbelievable how people can deny the Holocaust happened but i think that their ulterior motive is to white wash Hitler and remove him from any blame for killing the jews.

That is an impossible number. I doubt if even 1% think it did not happen. I know a lot of Jewish people and only one has a kind of big nose. ( my dad had a big nose and he was Irish) They don't steal everyone's money. You are confused. The Russians lost 20 million people. There were 6 million Jews murdered. You better take a close look at some real history books.

If 89% of Americans didn't believe the Holocaust happen, that's extremely scary. Not that it isn't already scary that even some believe it never happened or that some Americans don't believe we interned Japanese-Americans in the West Coast during World War II, though we didn't set out to kill them and their living conditions were MUCH BETTER than in the concentration camps of Europe.

I guess some people think humans aren't capable of that much hate.

For one, I doubt your 89% figure. Care to share where that came from? Because I personally don't know a single Holocaust denier.

A careful reading of your question however, does seem to put you in that category.

EDIT: You cite a "magazine" called jewed out? Amazing, I didn't get ONE hit for such a magazine when I Googled it. Doesn't say much for the credibility of its "survey".

Everybody who denies the holocaust ever happened has absolutely no clue about history and has never been to a concentration camp, has never seen the movie "Schindler's List", has never had even a minute of history class, probably can't even read and write, is blind, deaf and dumb.
Oh, sorry, I forgot, to actually visit a concentration camp you have to go outside the USA and since only 25% of all US citizens hold a passport..., well, I think you get the gist.

If you really believe that, I don´t know what you are. I don´t want to call you names.
I am German and I KNOW WHAT WAS DONE during WW2. Germans are good book keepers and they kept the books in order! Don´t forget, this born Austrian Hitler faild the access to the Vienna School of Painting, and one of the profs, which told him that he didn´t have any talent at all was jewish.

Because it didn't happen in America, maybe. As a European, I can assure you that is quite difficult to forget it happened- there is no city within the territories occupied by the Axis that has not lost some of its citizens, Jews, partisans, gypsies and PoW alike, because of it.
