I was born in June, and I'm 17. I'lll take written test in couple days and I'm positive that I'll pass the test and get permit. However, some of my friends told me that because I'm under 18, so I have to hold my permit for six months before taking driving test.

Is that true ???? Even if I took a driving class in AA driving school ??

Is that true, and is there any way that I can take driving test sooner ???

Please help me !!!

It is true if you are under the age of 18 you must wait 6 months before you can take your in car test. You pass your permit test so that you can drive with a parent and practice for you behind the wheel. This law may seem a little odd but it is what it is. Sorry there is no way that you can take the test sooner unless you were born earlier but for June... no...

Good luck though !

if you are under 18 you have to wait 6 months and take 3 behind the wheel classes.
and there's no way you can take it sooner.
you can still drive as long as you have someone over 25 in the passenger seat.

yeah minors HAVE to keep their permits for atleast 6 months, unless you turn 18 before the 6 months are over.
